  • AWS based Serverless Messager Application

    Implemented and deployed a serverless messager web application with AWS services.
    Used JavaScript to dynamically modify webpages.
    Used IAM to manage permissions and access policies.
    Used AWS Lambda and API Gateway to manipulate and vend data in the cloud.
    Used DynamoDB to store and retrieve data.
    Used Cognito for user login system, and finally speed up with CloudFront CDN.


  • AWS based E-Commerce Store:

    Implemented and deployed a No-SQL E-Commerce web application with AWS services.

  • Database Driven Web Application:

    Implemented a Yelp like Web application basing on Yelp Open Dataset (1 million tuples).
    Designed and implemented the user interface and constructed database schema from Entity-Relation Model.
    Completed the web app with Angular5 for front-end and embedded SQL queries into Node.js for back-end.
    Tested successfully with user login/registration module, advanced search module, comment module, statistical chart module etc.


  • 3D Audio Interface:

    Programmed by Java, JavaScript. Implemented a 3D audio interface which can produce 3D sound basing on users’ real-time motion and orientation towards sound source.
    Used socket to fetch dynamic data from gyroscope and accelerator on android phone and do the convolution on server side with latency less than 1 second.
    Implemented and tested successfully 8 different scenarios which could happen.


  • OpenGL 3D Face Recognition:

    Implemented texture mapping, control mesh fit via ray casting function to a scanned 3D human head object.
    Used surface rendering and subdivision to make it smoother and more accurate to get feature points.
    Researched on complex situation of dynamic expressions
